On Thursday 24th April we will hold our annual drawing competition for the Molly Dicker and Sylvanarth Trophies at the Holy Trinity Church Hall, West Street Fareham from 19:15. The subject of the competition this year is ‘Portrait of a Celebrity’. For the purposes of both competitions, drawing means ‘without adding water or other wetting

Our live sketching session takes place at the Trinity Church Hall, Fareham on Thursday 27th March. Doors open from 7pm. Members enjoyed an inspirational day with Joe Francis Dowden painting a riverbank with reflections. The workshop included step by step instructions, giving one on one guidance where needed. During the day Joe demonstrated how to create a beautiful landscape painting, supporting members to create their own work. Here is Joe’s finished demonstration piece
