Summer Painting days

With the gradual easing of the Government’s lockdown instructions our summer painting days have started!  It was great to see the first images shared from the Portchester sketching day – they are lovely!  You can see some on our website and our Facebook page.

If you haven’t been to one of our outdoor painting sessions do go along.

Summer Sketchbook Challenge

It’s week 9 of our Summer’s Challenge iand again thank you to those who have already shared their sketches with us.  If you’re joining in with our outdoor painting days why not submit some of your sketches.

We’ll be awarding a prize for the best entry so please take some pictures of your sketches from the summer and send them in to farehamartgroupinfo@gmail.com

Tuesday afternoon painting sessions and monthly demos

At the moment the halls we use for the weekly afternoon painting sessions and monthly demos are working through the government guidelines before reopening to ensure that they stay compliant and maintain safety for their users.

Although the hall management hope that they will be able to re-open our venues in September, before they can do this they will need to complete their own risk assessments, plan new cleaning regimes and work out the number of people that can safely meet in their halls. Any decision to reopen would need to be agreed by the relevant Churchwardens.

We will update you as soon as we know more.

Enjoy your painting!
