Fareham Art Group Christmas Quiz
One of the highlights of our Christmas events each year is our Christmas Arty Quiz. This year we have a bumper quiz put together for us by Ros Croft. There are 6 rounds to the quiz.
I hope that you received Round 1 – Literature, and Round 2 – Mixed Bag last week – if you didn’t please reply to this email and i’ll send them out to you again
You should also already have received Rounds 3 – Art and Round 4 – Picture round.
Attached today is Round 5 – paintings and Round 6 – Fareham Art Group website treasure hung.
When you have your answers to all 6 rounds send them into email@example.com. We’ll be awarding arty vouchers to spend in the Fareham Gallery to our winner. The closing date for entries is 31 December 2020.
Our Annual Christmas Competition open for entries until 31 December!
Thank you to everyone who has already sent in their entries for the competition. It’s open until 31 December so there is still time to enter.
The competition subject is A Winter Morning and your work can be in any medium. The deadline for entries is 31 December 2020. The winners will be chosen through members voting for their favourite. More about how you can vote for your favourite will follow at the beginning of January.

We aren’t able to award trophies currently due to the virus restrictions, but winners will still receive their certificates and vouchers to spend in the Fareham Gallery. Current trophy holders please either retain your trophy until called for, or return it to your nearest committee member.
How to submit your competition entry:
Take a photo of your entry and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please remember to include:
- your name
- membership number
- the title of your painting and
- the medium.
The recent news from the government about further restrictions has been unsettling for us all,a lthough it was with some relief to see that the vaccination programme for the over 80s in our area has finally begun.
As a group we must continue to follow the guidelines, and because this means we’re currently unable to meet up in person we’ll continue to offer competitions and activities that can be carried out safely and remotely.
We’ll be launching a new group project in January which i hope you will all want to join in with.
In the meantime, on behalf of the Committee I wish you all a peaceful Christmas and look forward to catching up with you again soon.
